Starbucks Chestnut Praline Latte: The Best Thing Caramel Brûlée

via spooncdn.com

You might have heard whispers of a mysterious new drink that will be gracing the lips of Starbucks drinkers everywhere, or in Canada and the US at least. Let me be the one to tell you that yes, these rumours are true. And yes, you may now commence your screams of joy.

The Chestnut Praline Latte had its debut last year in select stores in the US, and seems to have had a positive response. Why else would it be added to the 2014 holiday menu as the first new holiday drink in five years? Because these lucky latte drinkers were able to show off their rare test-drinks on social media, we have pictures to help us fantasize about the upcoming holiday season.

This amazing concoction of holiday gloriousness is composed of a latte with Chestnut Praline syrup, topped with whipped cream and spiced praline crumbs. It’s also available in Frappucino form, what more could you ask for?

Now for the grand reveal, when will this drink be available for us to get addicted to? Starbucks has confirmed that the Chestnut Praline will hit stores on November 12th,  following its annual transition to holiday red cups on November 1st.

For now, we shall stick with the autumnal Salted Caramel Mocha and Pumpkin Spice Latte (which I have very strong opinions on). In a few, agonizingly long days, we will be blessed with the Starbucks holiday drinks, I will be blessed with the job of reviewing them, and you will be blessed with the opportunity to read my reviews. Deal? Deal.
