Gold for Canada! On day 12 of the Sochi Olympics Canadians Kailie Humphries and Heather Moyse win gold in women’s bobsled. She made Olympic history today by winning back to back gold in women’s bobsled. Silver and bronze were rewarded to two American bobsled teams. These three teams have been a dominant force in women’s bobsled and are far faster and stronger than the rest of the field. Through 4 runs, gold medallist Kailie Humphries and Heather Moyse were in a solid position for a medal; however she sat in 2nd place for the first 3 runs. The Americans Elana Meyers and Lauryn Williams were 1st place for the first 3 runs but made some costly mistakes on the 4th. Those mistakes were big enough to slow them down and finish 0.10 seconds behind the Canadians. Congratulations Kailie Humphries and Heather Moyse for winning a gold medal and becoming a legend in the sport.
